United Methodists believe that the living core of the Christian faith is revealed in scripture, illuminated by tradition, enlivened through personal experience, and confirmed by reason. In other words, there is no need to “check your brain at the door” when you walk through the open doors of Redeemer. Bring your questions and doubts with you. It’s safe to assume that there are others already within our community with some of those same questions and doubts. You’ll find a safe space to explore those alongside us.
Historically, Methodists did not simply avoid evil in their own lives, they organized and worked with others to fight it as it appeared in the larger society. Following the roots of the Methodist movement, Redeemer is committed to putting faith and love into action.
Worship
Redeemer is an inclusive experience that includes a message of God’s unending love and grace, as well as music that is a blend of old, favorite hymns and more contemporary songs of faith and praise.
On the first Sunday of each month communion is served with grape juice rather than wine with an option of gluten free bread. We practice an open table where all believers are welcome.
After our service we have fellowship over coffee and treats.
